EVENT: join nyclu & ldf in syracuse for reparations townhall on thursday, nov. 5

On Thursday, November 5 NYCLU and LDF are partnering up to hold a town hall in Syracuse on “Reparations and the Legacy of Slavery in NY” at Tucker Missionary Baptist Church (515 Oakwood Avenue). The event is free, open to the public, and will examine New York’s role in slavery and ongoing discrimination, explore what reparations could look like locally, and identify ways to take action.
